Global hit song, Jerusalema by South African DJ, Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode is set to be made into a film.
According to realible sources, the film has already been shot. The shooting was done in Cape town almost a weeks ago.
The song which has now garnered over 150 million views on YouTube since its debut became a global hit after it’s #JerusalemaDanceChallege went viral.
The film is also reportedly pro bono and proceeds will be donated to charity. Cape Town is a well-known location for shooting both local and international music videos as well as feature films and documentaries.

South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa, gave the dance challenge his backing during a televised COVID-19 update last week. He encouraged all South Africans to perform the dance challenge on Heritage Day. He said “Jerusalema” was “a song I love so much,” adding: “I urge you to take up this challenge and show the world what we are capable of.” He said it symbolized what South Africa had managed to achieve combating the pandemic.
