American singer and songwriter, Ashanti has announced that she has tested positive for Covid-19 days after concluding her vacation in Kenya.
Taking to her Instagram account, the singer told her fans that she was fine and not in any pain.
“Hey y’all I can’t believe I’m saying this but I tested positive for COVID-19. I’m ok and not in any pain,” she wrote.
However, she went ahead to clarify that she did not get infected while travelling but rather she got it while in her home country.
Ashanti arrived in Kenya on December 7, 2020 and stayed for almost a week before jetting out of the country.
She spent her days in the country touring such places as the Nairobi National Park from where she posted lots of photos and videos on her Instagram stories for her fans.
